Substance Use Services

 

The reason for an assessment is to determine past and current substance use patterns and to make recommendations for further prevention, intervention, counseling or treatment services when appropriate. Ann does  not rely solely on testing instruments to define your recommendation. She provides a complete biopsychosocial evaluation that takes into account your unique, personal situation, in a non-confrontational manner.

 

Ann has several years experience conducting substance use assessments/evaluations with adolescents, teens and adults and her recommendations are based on the DSM-5 and current ASAM Placement Criteria.

 

Ann believes open communication is important, and she will provide you with an overview of her recommendations and provide contact information for community / referral resources, when applicable.
